Trivia

The first Cow and Chicken short had rougher animation than the series that followed and featured much darker themes. In the first cartoon, Chicken goes to hell for smoking cigarettes and is tortured by the devil while he's there. After this harsh episode, the content of the series was significantly toned down, the animation was brightened up, and the devil's name was changed to "The Red Guy". See more »

User Reviews

Gross at times, but hilarious all the time
9 June 2000 | by (Ardmore, PA) – See all my reviews

Cow and Chicken was a great cartoon. It can be very gross at times, but that just adds to how funny the show is. All the characters are hilarious, especially the Red Guy. It's a shame it's over. It was pretty good. At least I got reruns.
