The problems, joys and difficulties of young people in their twenties ages.
michel-crolais22 February 2006
Ten young people live in Strasbourg. They are about twenty years old. It is the age where all things are possible: love, work, and politics. They have all the life in front of them. They are still free of disillusion. But each of them has his problem for his own. One cry, other has difficulties with his lover… All live an active life and believe in life. Between them, real relations full of love or distrust exist and their life seethe. The movie is full of optimism and all the actors give a very good view of the relations and the problems of the actual young people. The theme of the movie is very near of those of Cedric Klapisch's movies : l'Auberge espagnole (2002) and Les Poupées russes (The Russian dolls – 2005).

uneven but satisfying

There is a special charm to this film about the lives of 10 young adults in Strasbourg ... The dialogue is somewhat a little loose but it comes pretty natural... The interaction between the characters, their fears, their hopes are the main ingredient to this film. Realistic depiction of everyday life with a touch of idealism. Score: 7/10

A slice of Alsace college life among graduate students
Rick-820 September 1998
This dramatic coming of age story evokes Ingmar Bergman and Arika Kurosuwa in its depth of character portrayal. Twenty-somethings on edge of full adulthood in Strasbourg, Alsace, France, recombine in a myriad of human interaction.
