Trivia
Originally produced in Hong Kong as "Tiger Storm" until the production ran out of money and shooting stopped. The footage was purchased by Keystone with the idea to complete the movie. However, upon review of the original material it was decided to scrap it all and start over. The only thing to survive from the original production was the action hero 'Daniels, Gary'.

There are guys the whole world over who consider themselves to be afficionados of action/martial arts movies but I wonder how many of them have never seen a Gary Daniels movie. My guess would be that it must be a helluva lot as if they had this man would be a world ranking star;the UK born martial arts master has at the time of writing some 30 films to his credit and most of them have high production values and some of the best fighting sequences you could ever wish to see.WHITE TIGER is a prime example of this and for this one Gary choreographed the fights himself. How someone like Van Damme has achieved stardom of a much higher level than Gary is beyond my comprehension,Daniels is a Da Vinci compared to Van Damme's pavement artist where the martial arts are concerned;he is better than Jackie Chan and Jet Li and I would only count Mark Dacascos as a true rival to him.WHITE TIGER sees Gary in a typical role as a DEA operative fighting a particularly nasty drugs baron and his cohorts in Hong Kong utilising a variety of spectacular moves in his extensive repertoire,Gary D.can throw a spinning kick with the same amount of effort as most people need to bend their finger and he has ample opportunity here in a spectacular series of confrontations.I strongly advise martial arts fans to seek out Gary's movies and discover what they have been missing;they will discover that a fair haired, blue eyed guy from London can become a far greater exponent of the fighting arts than an oriental trained at the Peking Opera. If this cannot be recognized then I despair of the future of the tastes of most fight flick fans around today.Gary Daniels is not even acclaimed in the land of his birth yet he is the greatest thing to come out of the British Isles into Hollywood since Sean Connery and is the best around in his chosen field of movie. No stand ins or wire work for a Gary Daniels fight scene. He is the real deal;seek and you will find!
