Bao gio cho den thang muoi is another masterpiece made by Dang Nhat Minh. Telling the story of a young widow in postwar Vietnam, it is more than a touching manifestation how the american-vietnamese war was seen through vietnamese eyes.
That film is not a glorification of the vietnamese victory over the USA. It is at first an elegy about the victims, about the grieve of those who have survived and who have to deal with the lost of their beloved.
