An excellent, well acted film. The film is engrossing and even though it tries to mimic the making of battleship Potemkin the main thrust is a modern Don Quichote, with no Sancho Pancho, and his quest for Dulcineae. Highly recommended if you speak Russian or can get it in a recorded mode, DVD or VHS. I saw it on TV, and the subtitles are very difficult to read.
