He’s appeared in a number of blockbuster films including Do The Right Thing, House Party 2, Bad Boys, Boomerang, Big Momma’s House, Wild Hogs and Blue Streak. His popular comedic television show Martin lasted five seasons. Also, he starred in as well as directed A Thin Line Between Love And Hate.

Former pro basketball player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar turns 64. The native New Yorker has acted in a slew of TV shows and films including Airplane!, Tales From The Darkside, Different Strokes, 21 Jump Street, Amen and Martin. His latest venture is On The Shoulders Of Giants, a documentary honoring the Harlem Rens, the first African American-owned, all-black basketball team that dominated the game from 1922-1948.
