What do you think of immediately when you think "exploding head"? Scanners , yes? Well, that film and many more are represented in a newly discovered "exploding head video montage" that culls many of our favorite scenes involving cranial damage. From The Running Man to Chopping Mall , From Dusk Till Dawn to Dawn of the Dead , this is one video you may want to watch after setting aside your breakfast this morning. Kudos to the editing team for this wet, gruesome and loving display of carnage. The films: 1. Hott Fuzz 2. Scanners 3. Dawn of the Dead (1978) 4. Dawn of the Dead (2004) 5. There's nothin' better than seeing a head explode on the big screen. Head explosions are always a dementedly fun little movie shock. YouTube user iiAFX has created a video montage showing off 61 head explosions from 61 different films. It's safe to say that this video is Nsfw and if you have kids I would suggest not watching it in front of them because exploding heads are considered extremely bloody and violent. This video is just ridiculous, but if exploding heads is your thing then you're sure to enjoy it! Check it out and tell us what you think!
Movie List (in order with video):
1. Hott Fuzz

From MTV Geek:
Screenshot from the game Spider-Man: Edge Of Time
Developer Beenox and publisher Activision offer up an enjoyable if not necessarily ambitious brawler smashing together Spider-Men both "amazing" and from the year 2099.
Note, this review is for the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Just a year after Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man returns to consoles in Edge of Time, a linear "walk, swing, and punch" experience allowing players to take on the roles of both present-day and 2099 incarnations of the wall crawler. In a plot involving Anti-Venom, an evil CEO from the future, robots, and so, so much time travel, Beenox has tossed in an engaging, and simple to grasp brawler system which takes some occasionally clever advantage of Spider-Man's abilities.

From MTV Geek:
The iOS release replicates the DS experience while adding a slew of levels and some nice bumps in the visuals.
I got the chance to tool around for a few hours with developer Iron Galaxy's port of the critical darling of the DS, Scribblenauts, released by WB Interactive. In lieu of a full review, I thought I'd run through some of my impressions of this text-based puzzler, but to keep a long impression piece short, if you liked Scribblenauts or were ever just curious about it in the past, you could do a lot worse than to download this really terrific-looking game.

Director: Oliver Parker
Cast Rowan Atkinson, Gillian Anderson, Dominic West, Daniel Kaluuya
Certification: PG
Synopsis: Spy spoof character Johnny English is back – this time to apply his ‘unique’ brand of spying to solve a plot to murder the Chinese Premier and apprehend the culprit.
It’s been 7 years since Johnny English’s mediocre debut – in which said title character bumbles his way through international espionage after a King Ralph-esk accident leaves him as MI7’s only agent. Although its no Spies like Us (1985) or Spy Hard (1996), Johnny English’s first outing back in 2003 had something about it – a quaint British silliness and a simple ’Mr Bean Goes Spying’ premise that made just enough funnies to mean it wasn’t a complete waste of time. With this in mind and stirred by our confidence in leading man Rowan Atkinson’s comedic prowess, as well as feeling certain that neither actor »

To the ever dwindling credit of Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer, the writing duo responsible for some of the worst comedies of the last decade, before their work became synonymous with critical hyperbole like “worst film ever” and “the problem with Hollywood today”, they wrote Spy Hard and Scary Movie, respectable parodies for the espionage action thriller and horror films. And though they’re credited with the “characters” for Scary Movie 3, most of the jokes came from Craig Mazin and Pat Proft, two writers whose writing legacy is only slightly better than Friedberg and Seltzer’s. So what made the difference? None of those hacks were directing. Much to the benefit of Scary Movie 3 and the audiences who had the chance to see it, the directing duties fell on the shoulders of comedy guru David Zucker, whose track record in zany comedy is matched by no other.

The Movie
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
The passing of Leslie Nielsen last year was a very sad day indeed. While many actors have tried to nail the same style of deadpan comic delivery, none have managed it quite as well as Nielsen. It’s often said that his defining performance is that of Dr.Rumack in Airplane! – of which he’ll always be remembered for a particular line involving a very serious Shirley. But for me, the role of Lt. Frank Drebin in The Naked Gun is the best performance by the comedy star.
The partnership of David & Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams – also known as Zaz – resulted in some of the greatest comedy movies of the 1980’s. Their first big screen production, John Landis’ Kentucky Fried Movie is an early example of their trademark zany humour – mixing crude sight gags with satire (most notably Bruce Lee films with a »

Britain’s most haphazard super-sleuth Johnny English makes his way to Blu-ray for the first time today, so we finally get to see all those unintentional explosions, misfired shots and high speed car totalling chases in glorious high definition…and right in time for us to revisit before he gets ‘Reborn’ next month! Read on for our review…
In an uncertain world, few things are as dependable as the British Secret Service.
