Continuity 

Dick Steel attempts to save the president by hooking a cable to the bumper of his limo, which fails when the bumper comes off. When the car hits the water you can clearly see that the bumper is still on the car.

As Dick and Veronique escape the night club, the door they block is hinged away from the main wall, and has no handle. When seen from the other side, as henchmen try to ram it, the door has a handle, and is hinged on the opposite side.

When Steele puts on his golf polo, he leaves it untucked and the collar unbuttoned while he is talking to the "major babe". When he stands up from the bed, the collar is buttoned and the shirt is neatly tucked into his pants.

Revealing mistakes 

In the opening scene, a parachute jumper is shown from wider angle for a moment. You can clearly he is a stunt double, not Leslie Nielsen himself.
