Storyline

Capulet becomes Cappell, and Montague becomes Monroe in yet another modernized adaptation of Shakespeare's classic "Romeo & Juliet." This time, the adult family members are feuding by way of a mayoral election, while Ronnie & Julie are the ice-skating lovers (he in hockey, and she as a figure skater.) Alright for a TV movie
26 September 1999 | by (Sydney, Australia) – See all my reviews

This movie was alright. They could have made it much better by making it a comedy like all the other Shakespeare stories which have been made into high school based comedies. The ending was also disappointing, there was no real moral to the story.
