Good evening America. It has recently come to my attention that I enjoy the nein•a•dees. I came upon this realization on Saturday whilst watching Titanic (1997) starring Billy Zane, The Unsinkable Annie Wilkes... and Suzy Amis. After removing my misty used 3D glasses sponsored by The Lion King, I gazed wistfully at photos of blk dnm's "leather jacket 8" modelled by Juliette Lewis and Chloe Sevigny. In two dimensions.
Later indulging in buttery spaetzle, courtesy of Hallo Berlin and nein-a-dees university mates, we considered trapeze lessons and discussed the puzzling career of Mira Sorvino before spotting Primal Fear's Edward Norton in the 10th row at "The Lady From Dubuque" starring four time Oscar nominee Jane Alexander. She twirled her angelic shawl with all the grace befitting an Albee abstraction. Or Stevie Nicks at a Fleetwood Mac reunion tour.

Danny Dyer has claimed that he auditioned for the role of Robin in Batman & Robin. The part in fact went to Chris O'Donnell, who had played it in the preceding movie Batman Forever and starred opposite George Clooney. Asked about the roles he had missed out on, Dyer told Popbitch: "Well I auditioned for American History X - I got quite close to that. "I mean, I totally understand that Edward Furlong was amazing in it, and he is American so they went down that route with it." He added: "I auditioned for Primal Fear as well and ironically that was weird, because Edward Norton got that part! I auditioned for Robin in Batman & Robin with Joel Schumacher. "It's strange really because for every one part you get, you lose (more) »

Sunday was a painfully beautiful day for a hung-over walk in Park City. Set in a bed of flawless blue, the sun refracted joyfully off slopes washed white by fresh snowfall and volunteers in neon safety vests, shoveling out paths for fest goers. Thankfully, the quality of the scotch I'd downed at last night's Save The Date party made the hangover more sufferable than your garden variety lager-derived nausea. It was a good thing because I was determined not to miss this morning's screening of Arbitrage at the Eccles, one of the festival's gold-plated marquee titles. Although Sundance projects an ethos of half-bearded hipsters and diffident indie chicks, behind the friendly volunteers and plebian shuttle system lies a firm foundation of money and privilege. Occasionally, that aura of aristocracy wafts down from the ski slopes, and it certainly suffused the Eccles auditorium when Arbitrage screened. As filmmakers struggle to craft »
