I don't know Polish as well as my mother but I found this film to be confusing at times. The story of a Polish woman who is killed in an instant and finds herself in the afterlife. She has left behind her husband and their three young children. She reunites with friends in the afterlife which looks more like purgatory. It seems more like she is having a dream that goes bad or terribly wrong. Her husband is a doctor or works in a hospital. Her sudden death is quick at least that is what it appears to be. Is it some dream turn nightmare in contemporary Polish living or a what if scenario? The afterlife here is quite gloomy and depressing. People appear to be waiting for something or somebody to tell them where to go.
