Well it seems that someone over at WaterTower Music has heard our collective cries and decided to release a Collector’s Edition of Hans Zimmer’s score to Inception. Hardcore fans of the film have noticed the more than fair amount of score in the movie that is missing from the original soundtrack release. Well guys, this new release contains over 40 minutes of unreleased music and 3 brand new remixes produced by world renowned remixers. The 8-1/8″ by 8-3/4″ package also comes with a 42-page booklet with photos and stories by Hans Zimmer, Johnny Marr and Christopher Nolan, as well as a DVD with 5.1 audio and video interviews. Check out the tracklisting below. Warning: For those who haven’t seen the film yet (seriously, do you people actually exist?) there are mild-spoilers (if you’re smart enough to piece it together) in some of the track titles.

“Quantum Leap: The Movie”? Could happen, says original “Quantum Leap” star Scott Bakula. The actor made the news over at Comic Con during the show’s “A Leap of Faith—A Quantum Leap Retrospective” panel, telling audiences: The good news is that Don [Quantum Leap creator Donald P. Bellisario] is working on the film script and has a big time Hollywood producer who wants to do it … It’s about time. But what I always thought would happen, happened … [that he's now too old for the role]. But Dean [Stockwell, who played Al] and I will have a part in it somehow. Don did say that as he was writing, he told me he was having trouble, ‘getting you and Dean out of my head.’ But I know he will do it. I was always a big fan of the show back in the days, so here’s hoping it happens. Sucks that Bakula won’t be the lead, and honestly, I don’t [...]...

With the The A-Team hitting theatres this summer and making some decent (albeit not mind-blowing) bank, studios are still weighing their options when it comes to turning more TV shows into movie franchises. We've heard that both The Twilight Zone [1] and The Outer Limits [2] will supposedly be getting feature-length adaptations, and now it looks like the creator of another sci-fi series is trying to revitalize an old classic. According to Scott Bakula himself, the time traveling exploits of Dr. Sam Beckett will soon make a "quantum leap" to the big screen. Oh boy. At a Comic-Con panel called "A Leap of Faith: A Quantum Leap Retrospective", Bakula recently revealed to fans that series creator Donald P. Bellisario is working on a script for a Quantum Leap movie: "The good news is that Don is working on the film script and has a big time Hollywood producer who wants to do it ... It's about time.

I'm just thinking that if an A-Team movie lost money, a Quantum Leap film may not be a sound idea financially. And yet...
Blastr reports that Scott Bakula told the 600 or so fans in attendance for the Comic-Con panel A Leap of Faith: A Quantum Leap Retrospective that a movie adaptation is indeed in the works. If nothing else, that's unexpected.

During Comic-Con's "A Leap of Faith - A Quantum Leap Retrospective," Scott Bakula revealed to over six hundred fans that "Quantum Leap" will be back, and it will be on the big screen. But the plan is to replace him with a younger actor. "The good news is that Don ['Quantum Leap' creator Donald P. Bellisario] is working on the film script and has a big time Hollywood producer who wants to do it," Bakula explained. "It's about time. But what I always thought would happen, happened...
