Quotes

Rodney Roach: Ralphie! I'm surprised at you! Does this mean you're giving up?
Ralph Roach: Give up? Give up? What are you saying to me? How come us roaches have been able to outlast the dinosaurs? How do we survive poison and persecution? How do we keep on crawling, in the face of overwhelming odds? I'll tell you how: because WE NEVER GIVE UP! A true cockroach never gives up. Damn the critics! This movie was FUNNY!
26 December 1998 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This movie was blasted by every critic in the media, but I think they were all way off base. Was there anything plausible about it? No. Was there anything funny about it? YES! I never got a chance to see it in the theatre, but when I rented it on VHS, I couldn't stop laughing. Of course, I saw it alone at the time, so I thought that perhaps there was something wrong with me. Then my brother rented it, and the rest of my family saw it, and we all laughed, and I realized something I should've known earlier, that this was funny, and I shouldn't be ashamed to think that way...and neither should YOU!
