Good Full Moon Fun
11 December 2004 | by (north dakota) – See all my reviews

I'm a big fan of Charlie Band and Full Moon Pictures, and thoroughly enjoyed this odd horror-comedy.

As with many Band films, he enjoys little characters that he likes to animate, and The Head(J.W. Perra) gives Charlie just that kind of character.

The Head controls his dimwitted siblings, and orders them around like henchmen.

This film has witty dialogue, that one doesn't expect from such a film, and actors perfectly suited for the corny plot. Blake Bailey was great, portraying a clever redneck scamming The Head into giving him a weekly inheritance. Jacqueline Lovell augments Bailey perfectly, as they play off one another brilliantly. Its a shame Jakki Lovell is basically doing softcore garbage now, that doesn't allow her to showcase her acting talent, only her exceptional form.

A person can rent a better movie, don't get me wrong, but this is very fun and witty, with a clever country taste to it.
