The new teenage students at a school for mutants (normal-looking humans with fantastic powers) try to stop an evil scientist from controlling the world's dreams.

A group of young mutants--humans with a genetic variation that gives them superpowers and makes them feared by the population at large--begin training at a school for heroes. Their studies are interrupted when they must rescue one of their number from a mad scientist who can enter others' dreams.—Anonymous

Based on the Marvel Comics comic book, "Generation X" is the story of a bunch of teenagers who are blessed (or cursed) with superhuman powers. The kids are "mutants", and live in a world that hates and fears them for their abilities. They attend "Xavier's School for Gifted Students"- a selective and very small private school just for mutants. The kids are taught by two adult mutants: the filthy rich and morally questionable telepath, Emma Frost/"The White Queen", and Sean Cassidy/"Banshee", an Irishman who has a "sonic scream" capable of splitting steel. The villain of this story is Russell Trask an egomaniacal scientist out to use mutants to advance his schemes. When he finds out that The White Queen, an old adversary of his, is now teaching school to a bunch of mutant teenagers, he decides to kill two birds with one stone and kidnap her students to use in his experiments.—Asparagirl <asparagirl@aol.com>
