Freeway (1996) More at IMDbPro »

The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Some scenes involve prostitution; a male character attempts to have sex with a minor, although this stops before anything is seen.

One scene features a woman's camel-toe, when she stands up from being questioned by police, her blue shorts are stuck inside her vulva and buttocks. The camera has a closeup of her front and back.

Oral sex is attempted, but abruptly halted.

A brief scene has several porno magazines shown on-camera, including one that evidently features child pornography (no nudity is shown).

Explicit verbal descriptions of sexual activity and assault.

Violence & Gore

Several scenes are graphically violent, including a man shot several times up-close. His face is later seen in grotesque fashion.

A man is killed in a drive-by shooting.

A female character is beaten severely around the face and head.

Two prison guards are murdered with a sharpened toothbrush, plenty of graphic gore shown.

One character commits suicide with very graphic and bloody results.

An old woman's naked corpse is shown.

Almost non-stop. This includes multiple instances of "God" and "damn"--sometimes in conjunction, many uses of the 'f' word (20 in the first dozen or so minutes alone), as well as the 's' word, a**, hell, bitch, the 'd' word, the 'n' word, and many more.

Numerous references to crack-cocaine, meth, and other drugs.

Many of the scenes in the Violence/Gore section are very graphic and disturbing.
