New York City is once again the setting for Gotham noir as the International Thriller Writers (Itw) brings ThrillerFest VIII to town from July 10-13, 2013, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to celebrate the "art of the thrill."

What exactly is ThrillerFest? It's a four-day celebration of thriller books, the authors who write them, and the fans who read them. Below are all the details you need if you plan to attend:

Villordsutch on the latest trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness...

Being spoon fed snippets throughout the previous year has led to this latest trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness, which judging by the content I would say is the last. I think we can finally put to bed the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison (J.H.) is now not Khan, which I’m thankful for. I adore The Wrath of Khan so what I didn’t want to see was a 21st shiny remake, and I’m glad I won’t.

However, running through this film is the core of Wrath of Khan, a film about vengeance and the destruction it brings. You have John Harrison whose vengeance has been long burning, vicious and aimed directly for the heart, then you have Kirk (Chris Pine) against J.H. which is new, out of control and destructive.

Michael Keaton Joins Aaron Paul & Dominic Cooper in DreamWorks' Need For Speed

Casting for DreamWorks Studios upcoming adaptation of EA’s widely popular video game franchise Need for Speed is currently underway as the project preps for theatrical release in 2014.
