Quotes

[talking about how she feels now that Neil has gone to university]
Shani Whittle: [tearfully] It's Eskimos, isn't it, that when they get old and no use to no-one no more, they just quietly sling their hooks and toddle off into the snow - for good. what a charmer!
14 July 2003 | by (Minneapolis, Minnesota) – See all my reviews

This charming treasure, starring Alec Guinness, features fine, understated acting at its best. this is a must see for people who like little stories about ordinary people acted beautifully and revealing that they're not so ordinary after all.
