The life of British couples, 2 March 2005
Author: Jasper Meerman from Tilburg, Netherlands

This is the best comedy/drama TV-series I've ever seen. This is the only show I ever stayed at home for. The best characters are Adam (James Nesbitt) and Rachel (Helen Baxindale, who also played several times in Friends as Ross' girlfriend).

They really bring out the sadness of being thirty in England. For example, Pete wants to surprise his wife because they are bored (they are only watching the "tellie" every evening) so he orders cable television so they have 50 channels, you can imagine what happens. His wife is not happy at all, "now we have 50 channels with garbage on it". Really funny.

The British accents are brilliant but even better is the Irish accent of Adam.

But, like many things You have to see for yourself! I bought all the DVD's and recommend this to everybody: ENJOY!!
