Excellent movie
16 March 2003 | by (Lisbon) – See all my reviews

One of the best movies made in Portugal, by a competent director and with an exceptional performance of Vítor Norte. It "was" the Portugal of the "forties" very well documented, written by Álvaro Cunhal, the ancient leader o~f the Communist Party. I believe the book tells his own story, after an escape from the prison.
