- The film opens on two men boxing in a ring, with hard punches to the head and one man is knocked down.
- A man and woman struggle and fight over control of a gun. No one is injured and they eventually stop.
- A helicopter shoots at a truck and the truck explodes. It then shoots at two people as the run away. A man shoots the pilot from the ground and the helicopter crash lands, a blade almost injuring a woman.
- A male and female camper are shot suddenly by a man who lied about being a park ranger. Some blood.
- A helicopter loses control and crashes, exploding on impact.
- A man and woman fight briefly. He throws her to the ground and aims to shoot her with a gun however she throws an object at his head and knocks him out.
- A helicopter crashes into the side of a mountain.
- A man is kicked out of a moving vehicle and falls a great distance from a bridge but the impact is not shown.
- A nuclear bomb explodes.

- The extended fight between Hale and Deakins towards the end of the movie is very intense.
- The many gunfights and several on-screen deaths are intense.
- The threat of a nuclear bomb detonating in the USA is meant to be frightening.
- Throughout the film, the protagonist's lives are in danger and they are in very precarious situation's.
