A True Gem of a Short!
ratzbodell19 June 2005
This is probably the best short I have seen in years. Daniel Salles is a fantastic writer and director. I wish he would write full length movies once in a while, but perhaps that's too much to hope for. The movie's star, Bert Palmen was perfect for the role of B, as were all the superb actors in this magnificent work of art. Movies like this should be entered automatically into the top two-hundred and fifty, but this won't make it, primarily because it seems no one has seen it but me, and no one but me has voted for it. It's is really sad, when you think about it.

It is only in Spanish (Catalan), but if you don't speak it, you should learn it, and quick, because it's just that good. I am in High School, and we watched this in Spanish class. Since then I have watched this several times again, as well as Salles' other short, 'Tan Lejos, Tan Cerca', and I love them both. The only complaint I can think of for these short films is that they are maybe too short, one being ten minutes and the other lasting twelve. I have thanked my teacher several times for exposing me to such rare gems as these. I highly suggest this short to anyone who can get there hands on it. In fact, I think I'll go watch it now!
