This film was, indeed, a tender love story between Hume Cronyn, Jessica Tandy, and the wonder of Africa. The love between this aged husband and wife team, Cronyn and Tandy, was touching and their love of Africa was obvious. Absolutely breathtaking scenery and the animal photography was outstanding. Running commentary made to you, the viewer, created a feeling of intimacy, as if you were a part of their expedition and their camp. Well worth watching - and owning if that's possible. I don't know if it's possible to track down a copy of this film or not, but it's worth trying to do so. One of their best. And they had many together.
