Based in Savannah, Georgia, it follows the lives of 3 best friends that have grown up together. Lane Mackenzie left Savannah after graduating for college to become a big journalist in New York. She returned for her best friend's, Reese Burton, wedding to Travis Peterson. Lane finds out that her apartment in New York is robbed and she tries to collect on an inheritance only to find out that Travis stole every last penny of it. Peyton, daughter of the Burton Mansion maid, had an affair with Travis. Reese finds out that Travis was having an affair with a "Bunnie" and is devastated. Travis has wound up dead. And through it all, they remain friends. Written by

I watched Savannah when I was eleven years old and I loved it. I was checking out the other comments and I have to agree that the show always made you want to tune in to see what would happen next. I've also noticed that other WB shows use reference to it like if you watch re-run episodes of "Sister, Sister" or "Unhapily Ever After."
Why was it cancelled though? The plot was great, the writing was excellent, the acting wasn't cheezy, and the babes were hot as hell. Especially Jamie Lunar who I believe originally tried out for Robyn Lively's part but instead got cast as the main vixen. If you like this show you would have liked "Pacific Palasades" as well. It's just sad taht "Savannah" will never return. It left me with a cliff hanger from the first season. At the time you could only see the WB on WGN-Chicago, but the cable company took away WGN so I was left in the dark to know what happened with Robyn Lively's character as she blacked out from a drug addiction and was going to skip out on her own wedding night. Why are there no shows like this on today? Everything is too serious!
