Lindsay and Peter give contradictory accounts of why a man they were investigating went up in flames. Peter believes he was a drunk swinger who spontaneously combusted, while Lindsay believes he was a demon trying to take Peter's soul.

Mia, Lindsey and Peter discover a cocooned alien. Mia suffers from hallucinations after being caught in the alien's web. She becomes part of an experiment that goes very wrong. The show ends on a sad, ambiguous note.
