The surprising return of the original Red Ranger Jason (Austin St. John) was the highlight of this show. Episodes such as "A Zeo Beginning," "Revelations Gold" and "Golden Homecoming" showcased the talents of Rangers Jason, Tommy, Adam, Kat, and Tanya. It would have been great if the original Blue Ranger Billy (David Yost) retained his role and function on the show, instead of giving it to a "one-dimensional replacement."
Other than that, this show is a real gem in preaching "the Golden rule" (depending on how we were raised, we know what it means...), and showing kids how the power of friendship and teamwork can overcome evil.
Anyway, just watch it for Jason. He's a tragic character who goes through hardships and "Rocky roads," but he's a character you want to cheer on until the end.
