Storyline

"L.A. Firefighters" (1996)" follows the lives of the members of Fire Co. 132, in Los Angeles County, California. Jarrod Emick stars as Jack Malloy, 132's fire captain who has recently had many difficult decisions to make, on and off the job. Co-starring is Christine Elise, who plays Firefighter Erin Coffey, a Battalion Chief's daughter. She can't stand how her overbearing father made sure that she was assigned to "his" firehouse. He never wanted his "little girl" to be a firefighter and is always trying to undermine her every step of the way. Written by Suzanne Smiley <ssmiley@su.edu>

One Of Televisions Worst Shows!
30 May 1999 | by (Los Angeles, Ca) – See all my reviews

In passing through IMDB, I happened upon this show and it brought back horrid memories of a show that wanted to be a hybrid of Baywatch/Emergency/Melrose Place. This show fell far short of being this decade's "Emergency!" and it didn't even do a good job of being Baywatch.

In the end, the only thing this show left in its wake was a real Los Angeles County Fire Department that will no longer lend its name or its symbols to firefighting shows of any kind, barring Jack Webb returns from the dead to revive "Emergency!"

It's too bad this show is taking up space in Fox-TV's film vaults.
