I enjoyed this film tremendously. The cast and story line was excellent. The cinematography was absolutely beautiful and the Portuguese language is simply wonderful. The actors in the film did a good job although sometimes the characters seemed a bit shallow and one-dimensional. One actor stood apart from the rest. Although he had a small role in the film, Michael Figueiredo's performance was nothing less than Oscar-caliber. His quick wit and dynamic persona makes the viewer ache for more. Bravo, Mr. Figueiredo, I look forward to seeing you in other films! Maybe you'll make the jump to American cinema in the future.
