Based on Marvel's famous comic hero, this animated series presents the adventures of Dr. Robert Bruce Banner. An accident during the test of the Gamma Bomb (Banner's creation) transformed him into a powerful hulking being; since then he is on the run because the Army believes him to be a threat which must be destroyed. In the comics (She-Hulk (v1) #1), Jennifer Walters was injured by a criminal angry about her legal work, rather than by Dr. Doom's robots. Otherwise, her origin was the same - her cousin Bruce had come to see her, she was injured, and out of desperation, he gave her a transfusion of his own gamma-enriched blood (episode 1.07 "Doomed"). The first season of rocked. It had decent voice work, fun plots, great characters, and great moments. It even ended on a kick*** cliffhanger with Rick Jones turned into a monster and Hulk going gray (like in the comics, though I don't think the Rick Jones thing happened). Sadly season 2 was really Hulk and She-Hulk. It was bad. So if you watch it just stick to season one.
