Storyline

Ray Barone seemingly has it all. A wonderful wife, a beautiful family, a great job, a nice house on Long Island. There's only one problem. His obnoxious parents (who live across the street) and his jealous brother are always getting in the way. Written by <jgp3553@excite.com>

Trivia

Patricia Heaton became pregnant twice during the nine year run of the show. In order to hide this her screen time was limited and when she did appear in an episode she would either be filmed sitting at a table (such as in Everybody Loves Raymond: Robert's Date (1999)) or would be covered by a blanket, as in Everybody Loves Raymond: Ping Pong (1999)). Goofs

In Season 2, Episode 25, Raymond meets Debra's priest Father Hubley, in a flashback episode featuring Ray and Debra's wedding. However, throughout the rest of the series, Father Hubley is portrayed as the Barone family's priest. This portrayal includes the Season 6, Episode 24 flashback episode during which Marie brings Father Hubley to Debra's house long before the wedding. See more »

Holy Crap, This Show Is Good!
5 October 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I love this show. It's hilarious. It has the weird, over protective, annoying, critical mother, the gross, dim-witted father who yells a lot, the over-looked first born brother, and the "perfect" second born son who writes for a newspaper and has a wife and 3 kids. In one way or another, you'll be able to relate with this show. I get mad when I miss an episode, even if I've already seen it. They're all so funny. The acting, writing, and directing are all wonderful. I think it's one of the best shows out there. If you like comedies about real life that aren't cheesy (like those so-called Disney channel comedies) you'll love this show just like I do.
