The Camilla Scott show was Canada's answer to Ricki Lake. She was fun, hip and had a lot of clapping in unison on her show, much like that of the audience of Riki Lake. though she never battled with her weight, she did have tough subjects on her show like-My teenage daughter dresses too sexy and My mother dresses too sexy-well, maybe these were not actually show titles, but the lightheartedness is definitely there. The show tried to tackle important issues some of the time, but the need for an audience was too great so topics turned fluffy and adolescent-which happened to be their target audience. Alas, the show was canceled after one season, and Cananda still has no talk shows to rival our American counter parts. Ho-hum.
