Better than Dead Calm
20 August 2001 | by (Bussum, Netherlands) – See all my reviews

It's some time ago since I saw either Dead Calm or The Bite, but I thought The Bite very, very good. Entirely convincing, very exciting, excellently acted (Weaving at his best and a great performance from Lesley Manville), a great cliffhanger ending to the first episode, and the ending even better than Dead Calm. I just wish I'd recorded it at the time!
