The 1,000,000 British Pounds burned in this film (in 50 Pound notes) were originally incorporated into an installation artwork entitled "Nailed To the Wall". The procurement of this money unintentionally created the largest single cash transaction in British banking history. See more »
It all started when Bill and Jimmy nailed a million pound in 50 notes to a board and wanted to present it all over the UK , but no owner would allow this weird piece of art to set foot in their precious gallery due to security problems. Then our two heroes decided to burn it all on the remote scottish island of jura and film the event. they did just that ,with help from friend and beer lover Gimpo they filmed it and toured the UK raising moral issues all around. The two lads decided not to discuss the event for a long time(they still don't talk about it much) saying it will make their effort meaningless. this film should be seen by everyone.
