I was rather disappointed by this film. I was expecting a documentary on a small tourist town in central Ontario. Unfortunately, this film is not enough of a documentary, and far too often is a boring story about a woman who comes to town to film a documentary. The historical footage and interview clips are quite effective, but they don't fill up the screen nearly enough. And then there is the music. It just so happens that "Wasaga" features what is possibly the worst song in film history, an ear-bleeder called "Flat Tire". Had the rest of this film been good, I would've thought that this song was meant to be a joke. Instead, I'm beginning to think that it's just the worst part of a weak movie.
