A well told story that reminds us of a shameful period of Canadian history. I highly recommend this movie and if one has the chance to visit the Nisei Centre in New Denver, BC it would add to one's appreciation for this story. Interesting that 'Snow Falling on Cedars' was filmed partly in Greenwood, BC, an actual internment site during the war, which ironically is shown in the movie as the place that the Japanese-Americans are removed from.
