The password to activate the self-destruct device on the undersea platform is shown on the screen to be "Nostromo". Nostromo was also the name of the interstellar mining ship from the original Alien movie; a movie from which The Alien Within borrows heavily.

Goofs

In the second to last scene with the flamethrowers there is a shot of a fire extinguisher putting out the flaming stuntman on the ground in the middle of shots of the standing stuntman being sprayed by the flamethrowers.

Decent "The Thing" Rip-Off

OK this movie does borrow from The Thing, heavily. In fact it is more like a cross-breed between Alien and The Thing. Despite Its un-orginality and a bit of wooden acting overall it is a good B-Movie and well worth a watch if you are into this sort of thing, mind the pun.
