Storyline
The notorious Khokha Singh entraps dedicated Police Inspector Satyadevi Singh, and has her sentenced in prison for life. Satyadevi leaves behind three young sons, Shakti, Anand, and Romi, her Trimurti, who she hopes will assist her in avenging this humiliation. After 18 longs years, Satyadevi is released from prison due to good behaviour. She learns from her brother, Bhanu, that all is not well with her sons. Shakti is an emotional wreck; Anand is missing, believed dead; and her youngest, Romi, is in the employment of Khokha Singh, who has assigned him the task of abducting and killing Satyadevi. Aditya Pancholi was given the role of Anand but Subhash Ghai felt Anil Kapoor would give more justice to the role. Pancholi later reportedly began to give Kapoor threatening phone calls over the role of Anand, the situation got so out of hand that the police got involved until Pancholi was caught he confessed he had made them threatening calls. Trimurti is nearly 3 hours long....don't know if anyone will be patient enough to sit through it.
Story is about 3 brothers who get separated from their parents due to bad circumstances created by an evil tantrik, and how they soon come together to fight evil.
The good - locales where the film is shot, some action sequences, some dialogues, the songs, few comedy scenes,Anil Kapoor is no doubt the best actor in the film, followed by Jackie Shroff.
The bad - lot of overacting, especially by Shahrukh khan. I think he was not even needed in the film. Also the film is too long, editing is weak at some places, some stuff is unbelievable.
This film is watchable but it could not have run.
