Its hard to believe that it has been almost ten years since the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Its hard to believe that for almost ten years, a vicious double murderer has been walking free. I remember when the Simpson murders happened and that circus of a trial took place, I am a Sergeant in the US Army and had to go to Cuba for six months from February to August 1995, I was almost happy to go there to get away from all the news about the trial! It was a circus, a disaster and a disgrace from start to finish. Christopher Darden and Marcia Clark were two of the worst prosecutors you could imagine. I couldn't believe how they messed it up from start to finish! They didn't even introduce several pieces of evidence that could have convicted Simpson. He wrote a note before he took off in that Bronco, that note reeks of guilt and the jurors didn't even see it! There was cash, a passport, a gun and a change of clothes in that Bronco that the jury didn't even get to hear about and Simpson made a damning statement when the police questioned him after he was arrested. He admitted cutting himself the night of the murder and said he did not remember how he did it! Vincent Bugliosi is the man who prosecuted Charles Manson, he wrote a book called Outrage about the Simpson case. He said he would have convicted Simpson on that statement alone. This movie was very quickly put together to cash in on the hoopla about the case. I think that Simpson is a charming sociopath who fooled so many. I was home on leave when the verdict came and it made me sick at my stomach. I thought my God I am ashamed to be an American today. I read Chris Darden's book and he said that Simpson will answer to final justice one day in the highest court of all. There will only be two witnesses against him Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, judgement will be swift and final with no appeal and this time he wont have a dream team to save him!
