an interesting little film
21 April 2004 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

If you search the internet, this movie is for sale on DVD (with Portuguese subtitles) an interesting cast in a story about art, prostitution and the cost of each. Some excellent work from icon Paul Massie and cult actor Steve Blackharte. Chisto Garcia, the lead, also wrote the play it is based on. Hellena Schmied (Barcelona) gives real heart to the female lead. Some good action, and a look into the seamy side of the art world. Reminds me of some of Tarantino's early work crossed with a dash of classic Film noir. The lighting and camera work are top notch, and shooting in 35mm gives it a "real movie" look.
