Abhi Zinda Hoon To Jee Lene Do
18 April 2015 | by (Pakistan) – See all my reviews

Najayaz came out in 1995 i was 5 years old at that time being a 90s kid i used to have a blast hearing this song Abhi Zinda Hoon To Jee Lene Do and man o man i can never forget those times it has such a nostalgic feel to it and in those days this song was a rage among everyone not only drinkers but regular people even kids loved it one fine example is myself i still listen to this song when i am sad or bored.

you can listen to it in the daytime too but it has a deeper impact on your soul & heart in the evening or past midnight it gives chills/goosebumps down your body.

Anu Malik the composer of the soundtrack did an amazing job hiring Kumar Sanu & Roop Kumar Rathod and let them sing this classic the poetry in this song is so deep i assure you if you don't speak Hindi or Urdu language its a guarantee you will never know what you missed the subtitles are useless for this song if you are watching the film and this song comes up i happen to speak few languages i consider myself lucky for understanding the heavy metaphorical meanings hidden in the song the song itself holds a very literal stance but its up to the listener how he interprets it most people say this song is for drunks and boozers they are dead wrong.

let me just break it down further into what this song actually is yes they are saying i am alive so let me drink in the heavy rain but on the other hand it also means let me do my thing tonight let me live and just let me live what i want today this is the time so before i die let me do my thing whatever i want.

anyway the point is there is a huge difference in translation and meaning the actual title of the song is Barsaat Ke Mausam Mein in case anyone wonders what i was on about coming back to the film the story is the same father & son relation ship with twists in the end the good son vs bad father on the wrong side of the law but when you have Sir Naseerudding Shah & Ajay Devgan as lead actors what more anyone want no matter how bad the script or direction is the dialogs are good though keep in mind this is a usual Mahesh Bhatt Film don' expect anything at all.

Overall Naajayaz aka Illegitimate 1995 maybe filled with flaws but its a good time pass movie hey i am just saying Mahesh Bhatt movies are not remembered for the plot they are remembered for their music & this one is a masterstroke one hell of a soundtrack worth getting once again i would say this track Barsaat Ke Mausam Mein aka Abhi Zindai Hoon To Jee Lene Do is a must listen for everyone even if you skipped the film because this song alone gets 5 points for being so awesome my rating is 5/10.
