CNN, in a report by its Hollywood correspondent, Dennis Michael, claimed Monday that Disney's decision to air three Latino-themed movies, Selena, Walk in the Clouds, A (1995) and My Family (1995) on its ABC television network was part of an effort "to appease the Latino community." Last week, Latino activists, faulting Disney and ABC for their hiring policies regarding Latinos, called for a boycott of all of the Disney companies. »
