Let The Right One In TV Series Pilot Episode Ordered by TNT

In addition to working with M. Night Shyamalan on a new Tales From the Crypt TV series, TNT is looking to continue expanding their horror programming roster, as the network has now ordered a pilot episode for the TV series Let The Right One In, based on John Ajvide Lindqvist’s vampiric novel of the same name.

Press Release (via TheFutonCritic.com): TNT, a division of Turner, has ordered a pilot for Let The Right One In, based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist. Jeff Davis (Criminal Minds, Teen Wolf) wrote the script for the pilot and serves as executive producer with Marty Adelstein (Aquarius, Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and Becky Clements (Aquarius, Last Man Standing) of Tomorrow Studios and Simon Oakes (Women in Black, Let Me In) of Hammer Films. Carl Molinder, who produced the original screenplay, and Alex Brunner (Dark Places) also serve as executive producers.

This will push the Murder in the First season three premiere to Sunday, June 26, at 10:00pm Et/Pt. The Last Ship had originally be scheduled for Sunday, June 12. After the terrorist attack on an Orlando, Florida nightclub, the network postponed the third season debut.

When the delay was announced, word broke that the first hour of The Last Ship season three premiere contains a nightclub shooting. A week after dissolving 18-year-old Benderspink, producer Chris Bender has launched his new shingle, Good Fear Film + Management.

Notable clients include “It Follows” director David Robert Mitchell and “Gleason” director Clay Tweel.

TNT Teases Young Shakespeare Series "Will"

TNT is falling for the Bard as the basic cable channel has picked up "Will," a young William Shakespeare drama, to series. Ahead of its upfront presentation, the network announced that "Will" has scored a ten episode order and have released a trailer for the series which you can see below.

Laurie Davidson, a complete newcomer with no IMDb credits at this point, stars in the series as the poet who arrives onto the punk-rock theater scene in 16th century London. Olivia DeJonge, Colm Meaney, Mattias Inwood, Jamie Campbell Bower and Ewen Bremner co-star.

Billed as a contemporary version of Shakespeare's life that is played to a modern soundtrack, the project is penned by Baz Luhrmann's scripting collaborator Craig Pearce and directed by "Elizabeth" helmer Shekhar Kapur.
