When Lord Zedd, Rita, Goldar, and Mordant arrive at the construction site to resurrect Ivan, Lord Zedd proceeds to knock out two guards sitting near the egg. After this Mordant's reply is "Yeah I could do that. I just choose not to." Goldar then tells Mordant to be quiet, but if you closely at Mordant's mouth when Goldar tells him this, it's still moving after, but no sound is coming out.

When Alpha 5 fixes the viewing globe, the command center has been wrecked for a while and all the lights are off. However when we see the news report and Ivan's Ooze commercial, you can clearly see the wall lights are on and the neon columns can be seen glowing in the reflection of the globe. This shot was probably originally intended for a scene that was cut from the final film.

Additionally, when the teens jump down into the construction site, their order again changes, with Aisha (absent during the jump) landing between Billy and Rocky.

Errors in geography

Various Sydney landmarks can be seen throughout the movie (although the Centrepoint Tower and the Monorail play major roles). There are also some cars that have right-hand steering wheels despite the story being set in California, and some Australian model traffic lights (foot-long black cover with a gray pole) can be seen when the Scorpion bot destroys a car in front of the rangers.

Factual errors

When Fred's dad is seen arriving back at his house before he is "Oozed," it is clear that the Toyota SUV he is driving is right hand drive, concurrent with the film being shot in Australia. However, when he gets out of the SUV, he exits from the left side, and a quick interior shot shows that there is no steering wheel on that side; just a regular passenger-side dash.

Although clearly done for humorous purposes, when Ivan Ooze is about to destroy the Command Center, he laments over missing the Black Plague, Spanish Inquisition, and Brady Bunch Reunion, because he was trapped for 6,000 years. However, he had only just mentioned he'd been "10 minutes out of the egg." He couldn't have learned about these things in such a short time after his release.
