  • Continuity: When T.S. first pulls into Brandi's driveway, he drives a Ford. After that, he drives a Mercury.

  • Continuity: When T.S. is picking Brandi up to go to Florida he has longer hair, but during the rest of the movie his hair is much shorter. This is because the scene was re-shot after the original storyline was changed.

  • Continuity: When T.S. pulls up to Brandi's house to pick her up for the trip, all the trees have leaves on them and the grass is green. In all other outdoor shots, the leaves have fallen off the trees and the grass is brown.

  • Continuity: After coming from Miss Ivannah's, T.S. parks close to the mall in a spot between a Honda Accord and a Honda Civic. However, in the next shot, when T.S. and Brodie get out of the car, the station wagon is seen parked farther into the parking spot and between a black pickup and a Ford Taurus. Furthermore, the car is much farther from the mall than it appeared in the previous shot.

  • Continuity: When T.S. and Brodie arrive back at the mall, they park up next to a green car. When the angle changes, they are parked next to a black pickup.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Shannon Hamilton and Brodie collide, you hear liquid hitting the floor from Brodie's cup, but you never see anything fall from the cup.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Rene Mosier changes through at least three outfits during the course of the day. That's because she's been shopping and buying new clothes (see also trivia).

  • Continuity: The 3D picture is not a sailboat but three rows of various 3D objects. From left to right, top row they are: diamond, sphere, diamond, and star. The last item from middle row looks to be a beach ball. And finally the bottom row is a series of four 3-D undulations.

  • Continuity: The ring on Mr. Svenning's finger when he's talking to TS and Brodie in the mall changes hands (it is switched in a deleted scene, but not in the released version of the movie).

  • Continuity: Near the end of the film, when Brodie Bruce gives his speech to Rene, a shot of Shannon Hamilton shows that the top and third and fourth from the top buttons are unbuttoned. Then the camera cuts to Brodie, but when they cut back to Hamilton all the buttons are buttoned except the top one.

  • Continuity: In the first scene with Brandi and T.S., Brandi has her glasses on until T.S. picks her up. Then they mysteriously show up in her hand. (She took them off in a deleted scene, but not in the released version of the movie.)

  • Continuity: Jared Svennings' ring switches from his left to right hand soon before Brodie gives him the "stinky palm."

  • Revealing mistakes: When Silent Bob "skates" through the women's clothing store into the dressing room and sends clothes flying, a hand is seen briefly at the bottom of the screen tossing the clothes into the air.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Shannon and T.S. are waiting for the elevator, the extra standing right behind Shannon keeps looking at the camera.

  • Continuity: Jay's sleeves start out down when he and Silent Bob attack the Easter Bunny, but in the next shot they're rolled up.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Silent Bob is riding on the toy truck, a fishing line can be seen pulling the truck in the wide shot of Bob in front of Lafours.

  • Continuity: Right before Rene breaks up with Brodie, she opens the basement window all the way so that it's touching the ceiling. The window is no longer completely open as she leaves. (In a deleted scene, we see that it keeps sliding shut, but not in the released version of the movie).

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Silent Bob is running past the jewelry store, you can see the reflection of the camera man and the camera in the glass cases.

  • Continuity: Brandi's hair changes length between shots during the game show. It changes right after Brandi says "You don't know when to quit, do you?" It changes back to its earlier, shorter length with the line "He just goes on with his life." (The scene where she says "You don't know when to quit, do you?" was filmed at a later date, accounting for the mistake in hair length.)

  • Errors in geography: During the closing it says the T.S. and Brandy get married at Universal Studios Florida. However the Jaws ride shown is the one at Universal Hollywood.

  • Continuity: When Jay and Silent Bob are running from La Fours, they stumble into the loading docks. When Silent Bob pulls out his grappling hook gun, he isn't wearing any gloves. When he and Jay get pulled up, Silent Bob is wearing black gloves.

  • Continuity: When Jay and Silent Bob are being chased by La Fours, they run into a dead end. Silent Bob reaches into his coat and pulls out a vibrator, then throws it away. He pulls out an inflatable doll, and throws it away. Then he pulls the Batman-like gun from his belt, shoots the grapple hook, hugs Jay to him, and they fly up out of reach and view. La Fours arrives at the dead end, but the vibrator and doll are nowhere to be seen.

  • Continuity: When Brodie and TS are talking to Tricia, you see the same couple leaving the store behind the bench twice, a man in plaid and a woman, as well as someone in a beige coat.

  • Continuity: When Brodie is playing hockey in the beginning of the movie he says he is in the middle of the second period, but the clock in the lower right hand corner of the television is counting down from about 20 seconds.

  • Continuity: When Jay and Silent Bob are chased to the food-court, in the space of a few moments, T.S.'s drink changes from a regular Coke before they arrive, to a Diet Coke after they arrive.

  • Continuity: On the first floor, Brodie notices Rene and Shannon going up the escalator (just to go to the elevator). However, when waiting outside the elevator, some camera shots reveal that they are still on the first floor ("1" is shown on a small sign in the elevator entrance way).

  • Continuity: When Brodie and Rene go into the elevator, Rene is wearing his jacket. When they come out, she does not have it on her person.

  • Miscellaneous: The name of security chief LaFours is written incorrectly (as "La Fours") no less than seven times on the end credits, where also the name of Sven-Ole Thorsen who plays the character is incorrectly written (as "Sven Thorsen"). The correct spelling of LaFours can be seen on a close-up of his badge.

  • Anachronisms: In one of the parking lot scenes the department store by the name of "kohl's" is visible. "Kohl's" didn't open any stores in New Jersey until 2001/ 2002.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the standard animal safety credit, "Hennepin County" is misspelled "Hennipen".
