The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

All the themes and scenes in this film are of a sexual nature. However there is little explicit nudity and most of the explicit content is verbal.

Constant, extremely frank and explicit sexual talk between adults, teens and preteens, with lots of vulgar slang and discussions of/references to seemingly every sex act imaginable.

A teenage boy and a preteen virginal girl in their underwear make out; their kiss is close-up. The boy then talks the girl into having sex with him using graphic terms. He then opens her top, takes off his underwear, positions himself on top of her, and we then see the boy violently thrusting on top of the girl, who appears to be in pain, while the boy in a voice-over goes into disturbingly graphic detail about why he likes having sex with young virgins. There is no explicit nudity in this scene (due to the actors being minors) but this scene is very realistic looking, uncomfortable, and extremely disturbing to watch.

A teen girl graphically describes losing her virginity at a summer camp.

The scene changes back and forth between a group of boys and a group of girls, both discussing in graphic terms: oral sex, and the value of a girls first sexual experience.

A boy has sex with a girl under covers; he thrusts violently, and she moans and complains of the pain while another girl looks in the room and sees this. There is no explicit nudity but again this scene is very realistic and hard to watch. We later see them sleeping together, fully nude. They are positioned in a way that doesn't reveal any explicit nudity.

Two girls strip to their underwear and jump in a pool; their nipples are visible through their bras, and a boy tells them to make out, which they do.

Several teenage couples passionately make out, and sex is implied.

A teen boy awakens naked on a couch, he sits facing the camera with his legs spread but a glass obscures his genitals.

A graphic scene where an unconscious girl is raped by a boy; the scene is long and the camera doesn't cut. We see the girl's bare buttocks, a little pubic hair and labia, and the boy caresses her clothed breasts as he thrusts. This scene goes on for about 5 minutes.

Several boys assault another young man with skateboards and savagely beat him until he is bloody and unconscious. Another boy then spits on the man's face. There's a reference to the possibility that the man may have died from this.

A graphic scene where an unconscious girl is raped by a boy; the scene is long and the camera doesn't cut. We see the girl's bare buttocks, a little pubic hair and labia, and the boy caresses her clothed breasts as he thrusts. This scene goes on for about 5 minutes.

Very strong language.

Nearly 150 F-words, among other non-stop crude, vulgar, and sexual language.

Drugs and alcohol are consumed by minors throughout the film. Four boys (probably around 12 years old) are seen passing around a joint. Some are seen high/drunk as a result, and others are seen as passed out (there is a scene in which a girl experiences a drug high from a pill, lot's of scenes where adolescents are depicted consuming alcohol and smoking cannabis). There is also a brief scene of an intoxicated teenage boy smoking a cigarette.

When a man is beat up in the park, it is very graphic and can be frightening.

The rape scene is very disturbing.

The entire film explores promiscuity in young teenagers/children. It is filmed in a documentary style way that makes it feel very realistic and confronts its matters in a very (implied) explicit style. The entire film is disturbing and uncomfortable to watch.

Original MPAA rating: NC-17 for graphic sexuality and drug use involving teens, and a brutal beating.
