Storyline

The once-reknowned escape-artist and magician, Kandinsky, is now reduced to confounding the staff and inmates of his retirement home. His one regret in life is never mastering an underwater escape. The death of a friend sends him out into the world to track down his old colleagues, particularly the Professor, his old teacher, to master the secret of the escape. But the Professor is an escapologist of no mean order, and Kandinsky has his work cut out for him to wrestle away the secret. Meanwhile, his fellow retirement home inmates prepare for Kandinsky's triumphant return. Written by Kathy Li

An extremely fun movie
13 October 2003 | by (Jacksonville, FL) – See all my reviews

Have you ever watched some movies and seen the actors sleep walk through their roles as if they are bored? Have you ever watched actors clearly annoyed or disgusted by what they are required to do?

When was the last time, if ever, that you watched actors having the best fun of their lives? Watch Richard Harris in the terrific "Great Kandinsky" and you will see and experience the most fun you and the actors have ever had!

I gave it a ten. It's the most enjoyable movie I've seen in a long time.
