  • Two instances of seeing a dead body onscreen. The first time its a woman who dies of illness, and is bloodless but somewhat unsettling. The second time its a man dying in a car crash, his face being smashed and covered in blood.
  • A dog is shot offscreen. We see a closeup of the bullet wound and he dies shortly after.
  • A dog attacks a man in a car, ending in a car crash that injures both of them, showing a fair amount of blood. We also see the dog being launched out of the windshield.

  • A recurring motif in the movie is the death of parental figures, something that could be very frightening to children.
