A Filipno domestic helper is accused of murdering her fellow domestic helper, and her employer's son in singapore.
This film came out a few months after the title heroine was executed in Singapore, causing audiences to go and figure what really happened. It worked, in part due to Nora Aunor's award-winning turn as Flor Contemplacion. Although the script is a bit melodramatic at times (for sure you'll know what will happen in the end), good performances from the actors guarantee a boost in this movie. No wonder it won well-deserved awards for Best Film and Actress at the Cairo International Film Festival, as well as the local Oscars. See it for you to prove what I'm saying is true. Rating: 9/10.
