Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, known as DDLJ for short, is a Hindi-language Bollywood-style film directed by Aditya Chopra, which has had the longest-running initial release in Indian cinema history. In English, the title translates to either Lovers will Walk off with the Bride, The Big-Hearted will Win the Bride, or The Brave Heart will Take the Bride.

It has been playing in Indian theaters for over 16 years. The film opened 19 October 1995.

Who wrote the music?

The music, which includes the score and songs, was written by Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit, commonly known as the duo Jatin Lalit. The lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi.

The soundtrack album was released by RPG Music/Saregama, which is the licensee of EMI Group Ltd. in India.
