In the Machete trailer, Machete throws (you guessed it) machetes into the sunroof of a car. It's the exact same scenario and angle as when Danny Trejo's character kills Bucho's men with the throwing knives in Desperado.
In the 'trailer' for Machete, the character Machete climbs on top of a car and throws knives into it through the sunroof. This also happens in Desperado, and both characters are played by Danny Trejo.
